Private Label & OEM Coconut Sugar — Your Brand, Our Factory
We manufacture coconut sugar under your own brand. The minimum is one pallet — 1.5 metric tons — in granulated form (mesh 30) or powder (mesh 50), packed to your specification and shipped FOB Semarang or Surabaya. Every lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis. Samples are free; you pay only the courier.
Send an RFQ with your form, mesh, quantity and destination port, and a quote comes back with the price band and lead time.
OEM in one paragraph
Private label — OEM, contract manufacturing, your own brand — means the product is ours to make and yours to sell. We produce the coconut sugar at our factory in Magelang, Central Java, to a specification agreed before the first run, and it leaves under your label rather than ours. The entry point is one pallet (1.5 metric tons), which is deliberately low for this trade: it exists so a brand owner can launch a product without committing to a full container. Two forms are available, granulated (mesh 30) and powder (mesh 50), in conventional (natural) grade.
We are the factory, not a trading company standing in front of one. That matters for OEM specifically, because a spec change, a mesh change or a packing change is a conversation with the people running the line rather than a message passed along a chain.
What you can put on your label
A label claim is only as good as the certificate behind it. The rule we work to is simple and worth stating plainly before you design anything: we can support a claim on your packaging when we hold a current certificate that covers that claim, for this product, in your destination market — and not otherwise. Scope matters as much as possession. A certificate that covers a site but not a product line, or a product but not your market, does not carry your label.
So the sequence runs certificate first, artwork second. Tell us the claims your market needs at RFQ stage and we will tell you which we can evidence, which we cannot, and what document you would receive for each. An unsupported claim printed on 30,000 pouches is not a marketing problem; it is a recall.
Which document a claim rests on depends on the kind of claim, and the categories behave differently enough to be worth separating before you design a label.
Organic. In both the United States and the European Union, an organic claim rests on certification held by the operator under the relevant scheme — the USDA National Organic Program in the US, Regulation (EU) 2018/848 in the EU — covering the product being sold. A US import carries a further requirement: an import certificate issued against that certification for the consignment itself. Neither document is a property of the sugar. Both are held by a named operator and can be checked against a public register.
Halal, kosher and food safety. Each rests on its own scheme and its own certificate, issued by its own body, and none stands in for another. A halal certificate says nothing about a kosher claim, and a food-safety certification says nothing about either.
Origin, form and mesh. These rest on the specification and the lot documents rather than on a certification scheme — the spec agreed before the run, and the Certificate of Analysis issued for the lot in your container.
Which claims this factory can support, category by category, is settled in writing before artwork goes to print.
We do describe the facility as FDA-registered, which is a registration and not an approval — the distinction is legal, not stylistic, and no label may imply otherwise.
Certificate detail belongs with the certification stack and its verification routes, not here.
Packaging and custom packaging formats
Our standard export pack is a 25 kg PP or kraft bag. For OEM work we also run a custom pouch to your artwork and format.
Formats, sizes, film specifications and the artwork handoff are the subject of the packaging options for private-label coconut sugar, which carries the detail this section only routes to.
From sample to production
The fear this section exists to answer is the real one: the sample was good and the container was not. Three mechanisms sit between those two outcomes.
The specification is locked before the first run. What you approve at sample stage becomes the specification on the order, and it is what production is checked against rather than a general description of the product.
A Certificate of Analysis is issued for every lot. Not for the first one, not on request — every lot, so each shipment carries its own evidence rather than inheriting the reputation of the one before it.
A sample from every production lot is retained for five years. That is the material a question about an earlier shipment is checked against — the lot itself, years after the container has gone, rather than the paperwork describing it.
Sampling itself is free of charge; courier delivery is at your cost — DHL, FedEx, EMS or CDEK. That keeps the sample step cheap enough to repeat, which is what you want if a spec is still moving.
Our conventional (natural) line runs to 350 tonnes a month, so a one-pallet launch and a repeat order at volume are the same line and the same specification rather than two different products.

Pricing and volume tiers
Conventional (natural) granulated coconut sugar runs USD 2,000–2,800 per metric ton FOB, and the same band covers powder at every mesh size. The band includes standard export packaging — bags, cartons and pallet wrap — so there is no separate packing line to add on top of it.
Indicative, quoted as a band rather than a point, and reviewed quarterly. Last updated 2026-09-15. Where you land inside the band depends on form, packing and volume; a quoted price holds for 5 working days.
Volume starts at one pallet (1.5 t) and runs up to full container loads. We quote EXW, FOB, CFR (CNF) and CIF, from Semarang or Surabaya, under HS heading 1702.90. Payment is 30% down with the balance against the Bill of Lading no later than one week after it is issued; a letter of credit is also accepted. Lead time is confirmed on each quote, against quantity and the production schedule.
Tier-by-tier pricing and the full commercial terms live on pricing and terms for private-label coconut sugar.
When we’re not your OEM partner
Four situations where another factory serves you better, each with the honest alternative.
You need retail-ready quantities below a pallet. Our minimum is one pallet, 1.5 metric tons. Below that you want a co-packer or a distributor holding stock in your market, not a factory in Central Java.
Your label needs a claim we cannot evidence. If the claim your market requires is one we do not currently hold a certificate for, we will say so at RFQ stage rather than after your artwork is printed. A factory already certified to that scheme is the right answer, and it is a better answer than waiting on ours.
Your artwork timeline is shorter than our proof cycle. Custom printed packaging has a lead time of its own, before production even starts.
Once you approve the artwork, printing starts the next working day, and printed packaging takes 7 to 14 days. That sits ahead of production rather than inside it, so a launch date counts backwards from artwork approval, not from the order.
Your destination is one we do not currently ship to. We export to about eight markets today. A destination outside them is not automatically a no, but it is a question to settle before you commit to artwork, not after. Market entry requirements are covered under importing coconut sugar into your market.
And one product boundary: we make granulated and powder only. Block sugar and nectar syrup are not produced here, so if your concept needs either, this is not the factory for it.
FAQ: private label
What is the minimum order for private label? One pallet — 1.5 metric tons. That is the same minimum as a plain bulk order; going under your own brand does not raise it. For bulk without the branding, see bulk coconut sugar supply.
How long does an OEM order take? Lead time is confirmed on each quote, based on the quantity and the production schedule. Custom printed packaging adds its own lead time before production starts.
What design files do you need? Send label artwork as vector — AI or PDF — in CMYK. We supply the bleed and dimensions for the format you choose, so the dieline comes from us before you lay the design out.
Can I use your certifications on my packaging? Only where we hold a current certificate covering that claim, that product and your market, and only with the document to show for it. We confirm which claims we can support at RFQ stage, before artwork.
Which markets can you ship to? We currently export to about eight. Tell us your destination port in the RFQ and we will confirm whether it is one of them before you commit to anything.
Ready to start? Send an RFQ with your form, mesh, quantity and destination, and expect a reply within 15 minutes during working hours in Indonesia (UTC+7).
The OEM launch, start to first pallet
A US buyer ordered 14 tonnes of granulated (mesh 30) — one 20 ft container — under their own brand, with a 3D hologram on the packaging for brand protection.
That is one past order, set down here because it is concrete rather than because it is typical: one buyer, one container, one packaging decision taken for their market. It is not a standard package and not a description of something on offer. What your own run involves is settled at RFQ stage, against your specification and your destination.
