Quality, Testing & Editorial Policy
A Certificate of Analysis is issued for every lot, and a sample from every production lot is retained for five years. Third-party test work is run by SGS and Sucofindo, both in Indonesia. On this site, prices and regulatory requirements are dated, figures from outside sources carry their source, and certification, compliance and health-adjacent pages are approved by an in-house reviewer before they publish.
Product quality policy and testing regime
These are standing practices, stated as facts about how the factory works — not guarantees about any one lot or shipment.
- Certificate of Analysis. A Certificate of Analysis is issued for every lot.
- Retained sample. A sample from every production lot is retained for five years.
- Laboratories. Third-party test work is run by SGS and Sucofindo, both in Indonesia.
- Moisture. The moisture endpoint is checked on a benchtop NIR analyzer.
- Drying. Drying is controlled, at 83–86 °C.
- No smoke contact. Keeping smoke away from the sap is a quality-control point. Sap is reduced with indirect heat, in a steam-jacketed pan. It is not boiled over an open wood fire and the smoke never touches it.
Content standards
Named author
Guides, comparisons and price pages name their author: Rudi Hartono, General Manager — 12+ years in coconut sugar manufacturing. Legal pages and the enquiry form carry no byline.
Review process
Certification, compliance and health-adjacent pages are approved by an in-house reviewer before they publish: Yudi Kurniawan, Head of Quality Control, 20+ years in food chemistry. He is an employee of PT Coco Total Sugar Indonesia, not an independent reviewer, and he is never the author of a page he approves. His approval covers the text he read; a later change to that text sends the page back to him.
Dated and sourced
Every price and every regulatory requirement on this site carries a date, and a page that states one shows a visible “Last updated” line. A figure about our own factory is the factory’s own statement. A figure from anyone else carries its source — a peer-reviewed paper, a government body, a standards body or a recognised industry body — and that source is read before it is cited. Encyclopedias anyone can edit, and market-research or trade-data vendors, are never cited.
Governance calendar and update discipline
What is checked, who answers for it, and how often.
| What | Who | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Certificate of Analysis | The factory | Every lot |
| Retained sample | The factory | Every production lot, kept for five years |
| FOB price bands on the price page | The factory | Quarterly — next review 15 December 2026 |
| Commercial terms: samples, response time, quote validity, Incoterms, payment terms, lead time | The factory | Every six months |
| Certification, compliance and health-adjacent pages | Yudi Kurniawan, Head of Quality Control (in-house) | Before the page publishes, and again after any change to the text he approved |
Corrections and updates
To report an error, email export@coconutsugar.pro with the page address and the statement you believe is wrong. Questions about a lot, its Certificate of Analysis or its retained sample go to the same address, or to WhatsApp at +628118797070.
When a correction changes a price, a certification statement or a regulatory requirement, the page’s “Last updated” date moves with it. The status of the regulatory and import guidance on this site — general information, not legal, customs or regulatory advice — is set out in the information disclaimer, listed under Legal in the site footer.
